Waivers
New immigration law within the past ten years makes the process of admission and removal more complicated and challenging. Regulations list activities precluding aliens from seeking admission or remaining in the US.
Immigration officers at the Consulates, ports of entry or at USCIS have the discretion to waive certain grounds of inadmissibility and/or deportability but not all waivers are available in all situations.
